Origins
Our Story - From Biotech to Beverage
As biomedical researchers with enthusiasm for exploring natural mechanisms for novel medicinal products with a positive impact on human health, the notion of TQ was born from our recent discovery that agave-based spirits like Tequila & Mezcal contain natural product mood enhancers that explain the stimulant effect many people experience.
From there we set out to create a true non-alcoholic spirit that maintains the character of the original spirit from which it was made.
These efforts led to the creation of TQ, a patented non-alcoholic spirit, that preserves aroma, flavor and functional properties of tequila.
